Prior to the immigration changes in the 1960s, Asians were seen as "illiterate, filthy and undesirable" human beings. It all changed when the US allowed immigration for individuals with high education and skill at that time. Which also changed the perception of Asians to being highly intelligent and academically-superior individuals. Which is a stereotype that persisted into the culture of today.

This project was created by Harry and Robert from the “Live Well, Take Action” program, which aims to engage Asian youth in learning about wellness and how it can have significant impacts on self, others, and society. It is a collaboration between ALPHA Education and the Chinese Canadian National Council Toronto Chapter (CCNCTO) and is funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF).
